In 1997, Rama Beerfas, founder and Strategic Memorability™ Specialist of Lev Promotions, started a finished handcraft business named Lev Designs. Rama designed and produced a line of t-shirts, tote bags, aprons, magnets, jewelry and more to sell at craft fairs and community events.
One day, a regular customer of our handcrafted items asked if we could design and produce a custom t-shirt for her organization's event. They only needed 6 shirts for the staff - and no one really wanted to produce only 6 custom designed screen printed shirts for them; or, if they were willing to do it, the cost was exorbitant. (This was long before digital printing was around.) Using Lev Designs' professional-grade heat press, Rama was able to fulfill their request at a reasonable price.
Well, six months later, this same organization needed imprinted balloons. They asked Rama if she could do it and she said, "Yes!" Of course, using a heat press to print balloons was not going to work, so she did some research and found a way to get it done. That was how Lev Designs became a promotional products business.
From the start, Rama felt that a promotional product should be more than just something you give away; it should have marketing value that creates a strategic connection between the giver and the recipient. Combining her business background with her creative side allowed Lev Designs to offer promotional solutions that provided not just "fun stuff," but the possibility for tracking ROI and/or ROO through thoughtfully chosen and distributed branded products.
In 2002, Lev Designs became Lev Promotions, a full-service promotional marketing agency specializing in promotional products and services with a focus on trade shows and event marketing.
